    When is my charge card processed?



    Charge cards are not processed until orders are ready to ship
    . If your order is not in stock, your card will not be charged
    until the product has come in and is ready to ship.

    Split orders?


    Split Orders
    : Shipping on Each Order is to a single address and for a single shipment. If it is indicated on our Web site that an item will not be available to ship until a certain date, the other items on that order will need to be shipped at the same time, otherwise it would incur an additional shipping charge.

    Returning Customers
    do not need to "Log In" to receive an extra 5% discount. Place your order normally. All orders are tracked by e-mail address or by phone number. If your e-mail address has changed, please notify us or go to
    My Orders - Tracking and change your e-mail address before ordering.

    We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, Money Orders or Personal Checks.
    "Check Out" allows all these options.

    Orders will be sent immediately (if in stock) upon receipt of Money Orders. Orders paid for with a personal check will be held for 3 weeks while the check clears,
    (all items will be held for you.)

    Shipping


    Free Shipping, if applicable, is by UPS Ground (48 Continental United States). PO Box addresses need to go through USPS (United States Postal Service) "Parcel Post" and is also free. "Priority Mail" has an extra charge.

    Free Shipping to our Military, if applicable, - APO & FPO by "Parcel Post". "Priority Mail" is quicker but will have a charge (since there are size restrictions)..

    Regular Shipping: (48 Continental United States) $6.95 Flat Rate ~ UPS Ground (Shipping Times) ~ flat rate special ( 4-7 Business days).

    Rates for Overnight, 2nd Day & 3 Day Shipping are found at "Check Out"
    (after you have chosen your items and are ready to give us your shipping information).

    PO Boxes:
    Addresses to PO Boxes can only be shipped through United States Postal Services . Unfortunately, there is no option for tracking these packages until they have arrived.

    APO Address:
    Military address can only be sent through United States Postal Services. Unfortunately, there is no option for tracking these packages.

    UPS Overnight or USPS Overnight
    (for PO & APO Boxes) . Available for most orders. See price at "Check Out" NOTE: Overnight shipping is not available for some areas of the country. We do not know which areas or cities these are until actually shipping the package. They still charge us the same but do not guarantee the overnight but only two day. This is common in more rural areas of the United States.

    NOTE: UPS Overnight, 2nd Day & 3 Day Shipping are guaranteed by UPS to arrive within the specified time. We will be glad to refund your shipping cost if we can verify with UPS that your order WAS NOT delivered within the "specified time".

    Exceptions: This does not include the day it was shipped, weekends or holidays or if there are mechanical or weather related delays, which UPS, FedEx & USPS consider "beyond their control". Sorry, this is at the discretion of the shipping company, not Cherry Lane Keepsakes and we cannot refund shipping in this instance.

    Backorders?


    Back Orders
    : Shipping on each order is to a single address and for a single shipment. If an item will not be available to ship until a certain date, the other items on that order will need to be shipped at that same time, otherwise it would incur an additional shipping charge.
    There is an option, at checkout, allowing you to split your order and add a separate shipping charge if you'd like to have it sent at different times.

    Shipping Charges on Backorders: Your charge card is only charged when we are ready to ship.
    If an order was placed with products that were indicated as being "Out of Stock", the entire order will need to wait for that particular item to avoid additional shipping charges. You will be promptly notified if products are "Out of Stock". Notification is through the e-mail address you provided when placing your order.

    Shipping to different addresses:

    If you'd like items sent to different address, you must place separate orders for each address.

    Gift Items:
    Products usually ship within 24 Business Hours. Demdaco, Howard Miller, Manual Woodworkers & Weavers, Boyds Bears, Yankee Candles, etc. (most of our companies except "Keepsake Custom Pillows", are usually in stock and will ship within 24 Business Hours (Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays not included). If your item is out of stock, you will be promptly notified. Notification will be through the e-mail address you've supplied us.

    RUSH ORDERS:
    UPS Overnight, 2nd Day or 3 Day air is available... see pricing at "Check Out". Call us Toll free at 1-866-235-0395 for particulars (personalized products need extra time to produce) We will make every effort to help expedite "rush" situations but will need to be worked out on the phone).

    In-Transit Times - UPS Shipping Times


    UPS Overnight - next business day, end of day (5 PM)
    UPS 2 Day Air - does not include the day it is shipped - Orders usually ship within 24 business hours.
    UPS 3 Day Express - does not include the day it is shipped - Orders usually ship within 24 business hours.
    UPS Ground TIME-IN-TRANSIT MAP
    Below, please find an estimate of the number of BUSINESS days (Mon. - Friday) UPS Ground will take for you to receive your shipment. We've found this to be 95% accurate. Holidays and the Christmas season take longer. We normally take only 24-48 hours to process and ship your order (Mon. - Friday), so add another day or two for processing and you can get a very good idea of when the package will reach your door. Note: Custom "Keepsake Pillows" and Custom Embroidered orders take an additional 5 - 7 days for production (this is still the fastest on the Web).
    * "FREE SHIPPING" if applicable, is by UPS Ground.


    Returns


    Returns: 30-Day Money Back Guarantee
    • Check your Packing Slip Make sure you’re within the 30 days return period. Items must be returned in their ORIGINAL saleable condition to be accepted.
    • Include a copy of this packing slip & return by insured UPS, FedEx or USPS.
    • Products must be returned in the original package and/or packing materials. Please do not destroy packages when opening. Do not tear foam, box or enclosure cards. Products must be returned in original saleable condition.
    • Damage by improper packaging, care or handling is not returnable.
    • Your money will be refunded, less shipping and handling charges within 30 days of return receipt of goods (usually much sooner).

    Customer is responsible for contacting Cherry Lane Keepsakes regarding returns.
    Cherry Lane Keepsakes is not responsible for misdirected mail or E-mail for any unforeseen delays in shipping.
    All unauthorized returns will be refused upon arrival.

    Cherry Lane Keepsakes will refund the cost of any returned items minus shipping, if the item is returned within the specified time and conditions. Sorry, we do not reimburse customer return costs.

    All items are sent "Insured" with the shipper. If there is any damage at the time you receive the item you must notify us immediately.
    Any sign of external package damage must be noted to the shipping company (UPS, or freight companies) at the time of delivery.

    Tracking your order is easy! There are multiple ways to track your order. (1) We will send you an e-mail at the time of shipment with a link for tracking your order. (2) All orders, on our website, are tracked by e-mail address. Just go to the "Returning Customers, My Orders - Tracking" link and enter your e-mail. If you chose not to include your e-mail when ordering, you'll need to contact us for tracking.

    It is very important to us that your online shopping experience with us be convenient and easy. Although we strive to maintain a site that will work with virtually all web browsers and computer systems, we recognize that sometimes there are problems.     I lose items out of my shopping cart or the program tells me my shopping cart is empty.




    If your browser has been set to block cookies, our shopping system will not be able to identify your computer and the items you place in your cart will not stay there. Click here to see if your cookie settings meet our requirements

    A cookie is a small file written to your hard drive that our site can access to identify your computer. That is how our program can determine what you have placed in your shopping cart while not confusing you with other shoppers. Cookies are extremely safe and NOT a viable method for hackers to attack your computer.     My computer tells me there is a problem with the Security Certificate
    Our security certificate allows our web server to encrypt or scramble the information you send to us over the Internet so that it is protected from anyone else seeing it. It also allows us to de-encrypt or unscramble it when it gets to us. Some web browsers may have problems connecting with our Secure certificate.

    Older web browsers that do not recognize more up-to-date secure certificates may show you an error that the certificate is not recognized. It is important to point out that in this case the certificate will still work securely for you if you decide to proceed with your purchase, but you will continue to get that annoying error screen.     There is a known bug in Internet Explorer for Macintosh computers that will not allow it to connect with a secure certificate on an Apache web server (our site runs on an Apache Web server). Unfortunately, there is no upgrade available to solve this problem at present. Microsoft has not as yet officially recognized that there is a problem although it is painfully obvious to everyone else. (Probably something to do with the fact that Apache is not a Microsoft product). If you are a Mac user you must use Netscape or another web browser to purchase online from us.

    Your system won't take my credit card expiration date
    even though I put it in correctly.





    Make sure you are using the proper format. You must use a "/" character to separate the numbers. A dash "-" won't work.

    Your system asks me for a card verification number. What is it?



    We are required to obtain your card verification number in order to process your credit card. It is a further security precaution that many Internet businesses must take. Visa, MC, Discover & American Express have all sent out notices to their customers, asking them not to purchase from companies that do not require the "CVN" - Card Verification Number.
